• Breadbot Are robots part of the future of bread?

    It seems so!

It was presented this Monday, January 7th, at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, the BreadBot, a “baker robot” designed to make bread completely autonomously, for example, on large commercial surfaces. It is about the size of a car and produces about 10 loaves an hour.

The construction company, Wilkinson Baking Company, is an American company and ensures that in addition to the loave classical format, BreadBot can be built to make other formats, such as French baguette.

The company’s motivation in developing BreadBot is to optimize the bread making process, making it more efficient, sustainable and direct. By eliminating several stages of the “classic” process such as distribution, it is possible to present to the consumer fresh bread, using local ingredients and in a fully automated way, reducing its environmental impact.
